Bus services in Truro city centre affected by closure of Boscawen Street for 2 months

Posts on the Transport for Cornwall website and Cornwall Council website today are reporting that Boscawen Street in the centre of Truro will be closed to traffic for 2 months from today. See screenshots below. The first post about First buses suggested that the closure would be for one month; then later postings about Go Cornwall Bus services have said two months. It will affect all services that usually use the main street in Truro including the park and ride service.

I do not know what the roadworks are for but it seems to have been a never ending cycle of disruption in the busiest street in Cornwall for bus services for the past few years.

I have now received from Cornwall Council Highways the leaflet that explains the works that are being carried out. It is the granite setts again! See Cormac info sheet.
