Another attempted scam on Facebook about “free” bus travel

I ran a story in January about an attempted scam offering supposedly free travel for 6 months in Cornwall through a Facebook page “Cornwall public transport”.

Now a similar Facebook posting headed “public transport in Truro” is offering “6 months of unlimited travel for just £1.99”. It is laughable that the photo of a bus at the top of the page that is branded as “Cornwall Transit” is a left-hand drive vehicle with the passenger doors opening on the right-hand side of the vehicle.

The simple message is do not touch it with a barge pole - it is a scam.
