Friday a bad day in Bude for bus cancellations; Saturday a bad day in Newquay

Friday 18 August was a bad day for bus services in the Bude area with 13 services on the 128, 129  and 219 routes cancelled. See screenshots of Go Cornwall Bus Twitter feed announcing the cancellations. The only explanation provided was “operational reasons”.

Then, on Saturday 19 August, it was the Newquay area that was badly affected with 5 of the 58, 59 and 59A town service routes cancelled, and 8 cancellations on the 56 route to and from Padstow. Meanwhile, anyone spending the evening in Truro and planning to catch the T1 home would have been struggling with the 20:35, 21:35 and 22:35 services all cancelled.
