Electric bus for Truro park and ride seen at Tregurra

Cornwall Council promised some time ago (see July 2024 Cornwall Council announcement) that electric buses would be serving the Truro park and ride service thanks to a government grant.

Two years later, the first of these buses has now been spotted at Tregurra but, at the moment, it is just being used for training for the drivers who will be operating them. According to the driver that I spoke to, it will be some weeks before they come into service on the route. They do look very smart!
