Go Cornwall Bus has announced that it will be running a service (GCB13) between Liskeard and the Eden Project over the Easter holidays, see Transport for Cornwall news story. The service will run from Liskeard through Dobwalls, Taphouse, Lostwithiel, St Blazey Gate to Eden then on to St Austell. This will be twice per day in each direction. In addition the bus will run additional services between St Austell bus station and Eden.
This is good news and will hopefully persuade more visitors to Eden to use buses rather than drive there.
Unfortunately, the information that Go Cornwall Bus has provided in its news item is limited and confusing. For a few hours it was showing what purported to be a complete timetable of all buses to Eden. But it missed a couple of services and it was unclear what timetables would run on Good Friday - would it be the Monday-Saturday service promised in this news item, or would it be the bank holiday service published in its usual timetables? Furthermore, it did not say whether this "Easter holidays" service would run on Easter Monday or would it end on Easter Saturday. The information was then removed from the website (see below screenshots of what was displayed for a few hours).
We await clarification from Go Cornwall Bus (I have emailed them to ask).
Update
4 April 2025
I have now received an update from Go Cornwall Bus saying that the 13 service will cease on Easter Saturday and will not operate on Good Friday which means that the service that will operate “throughout the Easter holidays” will not operate on either Good Friday or Easter Monday!
However, in a further update, the new comprehensive timetable for Cornwall that comes into effect from 20 April shows that this GCB13 service will operate again in the school summer holidays.
