First Bus operating park and ride service in Padstow for summer holiday

First Bus are running a park and ride service from the outskirts of Padstow, near the Tesco supermarket, into the town for seven days a week during the summer holidays. The first bus of the day will leave the park and ride site at 10:50 and it will run at 15 minute intervals throughout the day, except for a one hour break between 13:20 and 14:20 (presumably the driver”s rest break). The last bus leaves the centre of town to return to the park and ride site at 17:55.

The timetable published by First via its Twitter feed says that the service will run until Friday 30 August whereas the timetable provided on the Traveline website suggests that it will run until Sunday 1 September.  I have been unable to get a definitive answer from First as to which is the correct end date.

The prices (according to the First helpline) are £2.40 return for an adult, £1.60 for a child (under 5 free). Note that parking charges also apply at the site, see Padstow main road car park.
