Plymouth Citybus no. 34 service back to normal timetable after Stonehouse peninsula road problem rectified
17 June 2026

Some residents of south east Cornwall who use the Torpoint Ferry or the Cremyll Ferry to travel to Plymouth catch the Plymouth Citybus no. 34 service from Ferry Road or the Stonehouse peninsula to get to the city centre or Derriford Hospital. The service to the Stonehouse peninsula was severely disrupted for several weeks because of an unsafe building on the approach road to the peninsula and Citybus put in place temporary timetables for separate 34 and 34A services to ease the problem, see timetable shambles.

I am pleased to say that the unsafe building issue was remedied a couple of weeks ago and the no. 34 service is back to its original timetable.
