Following the withdrawal of the First Bus Lands End Coaster service, there has been a noticeable gap in bus services along the north coast of the Penwith peninsula between St Ives and Lands End. Go Cornwall Bus are putting on the no. 7/7A service along this stretch of coast, but the service is limited to 4 buses each way each day and they are running only during the late May half-term week and then again during the schools’ summer holiday period. First Bus are running a late night service out of Newquay to Quintrell Downs, Indian Queens, St Columb Major, St Columb Road and St Columb Minor on Saturday nights from 24 May until 6 September. The timetable can be downloaded from here.
