Earlier this week, Transport for Cornwall website posted a story about “Cornwall’s summer services” with a list of featured services where more buses would be running during the school summer holidays. The timetables for these services had been published in the comprehensive timetable book of 20 April 2025, see timetables page of this website.
There were a couple of minor errors in the timetables for the GCB13, GCB26 and GCB56 services that referred to the summer timetables starting from Saturday 27th July. That should have read Sunday 27th July. I have corrected the timetables that can be downloaded from this website.
In addition, there is an additional service, GCB2 running between Penzance and Marazion at half-hourly intervals Monday to Saturday from 24 July until 30 August. An increased service on this route was flagged up to take effect from 31 August in the Transport for Cornwall news item about changes to timetables at the end of the summer but no indication was given in that story that the increased service would actually take effect from 24 July. The times are on the Transport for Cornwall timetables page but they have not produced a pdf version of the new timetable yet. But there is a version available from the Traveline South West website and here is a pdf version of it. It was brought to my attention by an eagle-eyed reader of this website who happened to notice it on Google Maps of all places and he brought it to my attention - thank you Paul. It is strange that Go Cornwall Bus, the operator of this service, should add this service and not publicise it all. Or perhaps it was done deliberately to insert the service on a route which is already well served by First’s nos. 17, T1 and U4 and pinch some business off them without them noticing!
